Getting patched was the hard part. The client would not self-patch. Once I patched manually, things have been great. No significant problems to speak of. Running 10.5.8

Maybe a clue? When it does freeze, Eve is not showing up in the force quit menu. (Therefore requiring full reboot.) Even when the game is running, it does not show up in the dock as an active app. It's as though the finder doesn't know that Eve...
